Belinda and Hannah talk about Snapchat and how they use it and its influence in college. Here is what their interview summarises:
For both of them, Snapchat was one of the easiest way to connect to friends not only in college but also friends back home. They both think Snapchat has definitely impacted their social media world and say that a majority of their friends DO have Snapchat and in college you would expect most to have the app, however there is still a small proportion of them who don't really have interest in using it.
Belinda adds on commenting about valuing the 'moments' that can be captured and sent to friends, which is one of the unique aspects of Snapchat. Hannah on the other hand, finds the expressive emotions more appealing and unique compared to other forms of social media. When asked if they would like Emory University as a official body to start a snapchat account, they stated that it would be a wonderful way to make students aware of campus events however it will still be limited only to students who have snapchat.

Kim recently started using Snapchat and Celeste represents a student who does not use the app. I thought it would be interesting to get their perspectives regarding this!
According to Celeste(non-snapchat user), "I think its too late to even get the app now mainly because I feel people have already started using this for a long time and I honestly don't think I would like to have another way of communicating apart from what i have now!" Kim argues that " Snapchat is definitely more quicker, easier and creative way to stay in constant touch among your friends. Who knew I could receive 5 second weird looking snaps of friends every now and then?. I enjoy the change." " I initially didn't want to get the app since this would be a major distraction but somehow I was driven into using it by my friends."
Celeste offers a unique opinion on Snapchat. " A part of the reason I didn't want to start using the app was because when it was first released in high school,I though it was used for sexting but then slowly the percentage of people using it for sexting disappeared and now its mostly a good way to keep in contact."
